Opening credits are used as a film opening to show off the main members of the movie production team such as the actors and the director. The opening credits can begin a movie by playing over the scene or being hidden in messages or props throughout the scene for the audience to see and find. The opening credits can play out in a manner that can set the tone for the movie depending on the placement or the score. The title sequence is a method by which films present their title and important members. They are also able to set a tone for the rest of the film. the title usually plays after the film opening which signals the beginning of a film. 1/11/21 the type of movie that we are trying to make is a horror movie some of the basic conventions are dark areas, mysterious and suspenseful score, or mysterious shadows many horror movies use conventions such as a dark and mysterious location or a character that has no spatial awareness of what is happening around them.
